This weekend B4 launched in retail locations. Now consumers in Houston can purchase B4 at any Rice Epicurean Market locations in the city and select H-E-B stores.

Oct. 15, 2011 marked the 3rd annual event when people around the world joined together to share the message of Global Handwashing Day.

B4 Hand Sanitizer Handwashing Fun Fact Sheet

The worldwide day of awareness is dedicated to encouraging communities to help children develop good hand hygiene in an effort to limit the spread of illnesses. More than three million children die each year from sicknesses that can be prevented or significantly limited if they wash their hands regularly and properly.

Part of the mission of Global Handwashing day includes teaching the proper way to wash hands to eliminate germs — which means washing with soap for at least 20 seconds (that’s about the length of the alphabet song). Soap and water aren’t always convenient, and those cases, professionals recommend using an antibacterial hand sanitizer.

Reps from B4 manned sample tables at each retail location to introduce B4 to shoppers and share the message of Global Handwashing Day. Our cheery and delightful interns single-handedly managed a sample table at two Rice Epicurean Markets.  We’re certainly excited about our in-store product launch. And B4 is still available online if we haven’t reached your neighborhood just yet.
